It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our sweet Louis.
Louis was an integral part of our lives. From loyal companion at home to a stalwart presence at the office.
We always wanted to have a dog we could bring to work each day. The English bulldog breed fit that bill. They couldn’t run fast, so no fence was needed. Good with people and an overall calm demeanor.
Louis was all that and much more. We knew we were on to something when clients began to “soften” with him in the room. There are many “Louis” stories, however, this one really captures that essence.
If a client was stressed while discussing their business and related year-end tax documents, Louis came to the rescue, even as a puppy. It was then that we knew Louis was a member of the firm. As such, over the course of 10 years his role was that of confidant, stress reliever, and marketing director.
Louis just loved coming to work and being surrounded by those who loved him. He had his chew toys in every corner. At lunch, he chewed his food loudly and with vigorous enjoyment. He definitely looked forward to snacks. He had a daily routine of walking around to the various offices to ply more than one treat from his co-workers.
We will remember him, always.
